In the beginning there was an idea; an idea that role playing games are meant for adventure and excitement. We believe that through imagination and creativity you can unlock your own universes of great adventure and wonderous excitement. We were inspired by the likes of J.R.R. Tolkien who many consider to be the “Grandfather of Fantasy” and Gary Gygax who many consider the “Father of Fantasy Role-Playing” who literally started a gaming empire. We started playing established role-playing games from our inspired creators listed above and a few others as most gamers but we often found the rules a bit limiting and with some games an abundance of confusing tables, graphs, and charts that to some took away from the spirit of imagination in gaming. So, wanting to put our unique touch and have a hand in developing our own ideas we started creating game systems ourselves, often trying to simplify rules and writing out components that we felt took away from the gaming experience for our gaming players. The game systems below constitute over three decades of work by our teams, including many, many years of play testing within our own groups and at gaming conventions.
